Vacuum casting
Models moulded in silicone allow up to 20-25 geometrically identical casts from one PU casting resin mould. Multiple forms may be necessary and possible. Using this technique you can test selected product properties and examine the effect of colours and surface finishes.
The products can be painted, labelled and are suitable for x-ray examination. Mechanical tests are possible which correspond to 80% of the series materials. The polyurethanes used can be coloured; in addition, both transparent and translucent materials are available.
Stereolithography
In stereolithography, liquid plastic is cured by UV laser to create a physical model. Various materials are available to represent the following properties:

In the laser sintering process, a physical model is built up layer by layer in powdered plastic by means of a laser beam. The models have good mechanical properties, but are limited in terms of surface finish. Painting is possible, of course.
